Confidentiality Policy SURVI-Mobile

The purpose of this confidentiality policy is to advise you regarding our

procedures for managing personal information that you provide via the

SURVI-Mobile application.

Safeguarding Your Personal Information

The “Centrale d’appels d’urgence de Chaudière-Appalaches” or “CAUCA” is subject to the

Act respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information,

which confirms two fundamental rights, namely, the public’s right to information and the right to privacy.

 

CAUCA protects the personal information that it collections from SURVI-Mobile users by ensuring that

such information is used solely for the purposes authorized by the service agreements between

CAUCA and its clients.

Confidentiality of Shared Personal Information

Information transmitted from the SURVI-Mobile application to other applications is used in order to properly

respond to the emergency alert or to produce reports and is used solely for the purposes authorized by

the service agreement between CAUCA and its clients.

Automatically Shared Data

When using the SURVI-Mobile application our server will automatically share information with your device

that is necessary for the proper functioning of SURVI-Mobile, such as:

 

·         Your telephone number

·         Model and operating system version of your device

·         Tracking information when responding to the alert

 

The above information is necessary to meet the technological requirements to run the application.

 

The tracking information is used by the server to calculate the estimated arrival time at the fire hall or

 at the location and is not kept on our servers.

Secure Data Sharing

The personal information collected by SURVI-Mobile will be kept in a secure environment.

To ensure the security of your personal information, CAUCA has implemented the following measures:
